In October this year, Aoki will be exhibiting at K 2010, the 18th International Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber in Düsseldorf Germany, and the largest plastics exhibition in the world. In addition to our decade-long theme of Molding containers for less than the cost of a cold preform, this year we will also be exhibiting and demonstrating three molds and machines, including a new model, under our new theme of One Hour Performance & Long Term Performance. These Aoki machines were developed using our own Value Engineering development concept that treats energy and time as costs, and as a result it further reduces energy consumption during bottle molding. Our newly developed preform design technologies also enable stable production of more economical, high quality containers.

With the maturation of the PET container market and subsequent end of the seller's market, have come reduced production volumes, tighter contract times and an increased emphasis on eco-friendly, so machine users are facing a greatly changed business environment. At the same time, production costs are increasing because of increased transport and raw material prices due to steep rises in the price of crude oil, and because of increased labor costs and other factors. As a result, machine users are looking for even greater cost performance and production efficiencies in their machines and molds as they struggle to survive in the current fierce price competition. Aoki has developed machines and molds with a strong focus on these conditions, so we encourage you to come and take a good look at this performance for yourselves.

We look forward to seeing you there.
