Direct Heatcon molding technology has greatly expanded the potential for plastic containers. Aoki independently developed this technology and is providing people throughout the world with support in developing a wide range of containers. In fact, Aoki has worked with customers to develop over 10,000 different containers. Customers are looking for many different capabilities with these containers as well. From lightweighting to heat resistance, functionality and chemical resistance, Aoki is meeting these various needs through its extensive experience and technical capabilities.
- Lightweight and Thinwall Technologies
Thinwalling and lightweighting technologies are expanding the potential for containers. One example is a 15-gram, 1.5-liter container developed by Aoki.
- Resins
Aoki molding technologies are compatible with many molding materials, including PET, PC, PP, PEN, PES and HIPS.
- Shapes & sizes
Many shapes are possible, including extreme ovalization, off-centered containers, wide mouth and narrow-necked containers, with sizes ranging from small 3.0mL eye drop bottles to large 90L containers.
- Functions
Functions required include heat resistance, airtightness and portability.
- Recycling
Aoki’s unique technologies enable new containers to be molded from recycled flake material, which is one step closer to realizing a recycling-oriented society.
