Corporate social responsibility, social and environmental activities

Aoki is focused on a number of important themes when creating containers. They include molding containers with the lowest environmental impact, effectively using our natural resources, and improving our lives while reducing the environmental burden.

Aoki enables molding of containers with the minimum amount of energy. Since the company was founded, we have always provided users with the most efficient waste-free molding systems available. There are more and more global initiatives to reduce the environmental burden and we have actively participated in them to work towards a recycling-oriented society that lives in harmony with the natural environment. With the accelerating pace of international initiatives against global warming, this is becoming a matter for all humanity, while initiatives to conserve our natural resources and save energy are also becoming more and more important when molding containers. As a leading company in the container molding industry, Aoki remains committed to solving these issues.

Reducing the environmental burden

"Aoki is committed to a number of currently important themes. They include effectively utilizing our limited natural resources and realizing a sustainable society. One initiative is recycling technologies for post-consumer containers. Useful and safe plastic containers are in use everywhere around the world, but while the amount of plastics being used is increasing, our natural resources are limited. Other important issues are more effective use of those resources and recycling of plastic containers. The true purpose of recycling is lost though when those recycling activities use lots of energy. Recycling technologies that require a lot of energy are also very difficult to expand globally. That is why being able to mold high quality containers from recycled material with the minimum amount of energy is essential to our future society.

The AOKI eco PROJECT proposes a technology for molding new PET bottles from reground, washed and dried post-consumer PET bottle flake material. Aoki will continue to be totally committed to developing technologies like this that help conserve our natural resources."
